It depends: There are hundreds of different multivitamins of varying strengths. Some are designed to take one a day and others are formulated with the intention you take 8/day. It can be hazardous to take too much iron (men should not take any), pregnant women should avoid too much vit a, very high doses of b6 can cause neuropathy- so it depends on you, your individual needs & the type you are taking.
