Several patients.: Pregnant women are at increased risk for pancreatitis and cholelithiasis [if obese and/or with nausea/vomiting]. Several of my patients require ERCP and/or cholecystectomy (usually laparoscopically) during pregnancy and their outcomes have generally been great. Depending on your gestational age, your maternal-fetal medicine physician may want to place you on Indomethacin perioperatively.
