Acronyms: Creutzfelt-jakob disease could be abbreviated as cjd. So where did you get the term vcjd? I don't like acronyms. It's a way of isolating medical knowledge instead of universalizing knowledge. I am totally adverse to acronyms. In fact "acronymicism" is the reason for your question.
