What is the treatment for vcjd?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prions: Vcjd or variant creutzfeldt-jakob disease is the human form of "mad cow disease" acquired by humans by the ingestion of contaminated meat (mostly hamburger) or rarely by blood transfusion from a case of vcjd prior to diagnosis. There is no definitive treatment although a number of investigators are studying possibilities.
