Immigration exams: According to current USCIS guidelines, immigration physicals performed within the United States do not require HIV testing. However, an immigration doctor might recommend this test if other results (such as STD screening) come back positive or the patient has other risk factors. Please contact USCIS directly for information on medical requirements abroad.
