Sore throat: All sore throats are not from strep infection. It could be anything from allergies to viral infections or nasal sprays for allergies. See your docotr if you are still sick.

Other common causes: It could be viral (most common) or allergic (hay fever). Sexually transmitted diseases can also cause sore throat, especially gonorrhea.
