Oxicillin: Depend on allergies: if not peniciilln allergic than: dicloxicylin duricef -keflex if pen. Allergic: bactrim cleocin good if not breast feeding if nursing -----all drugs must be discussed between ob-gyn and surgeon.

Antibiotics: Antibiotics are used to treat mastitis. If there is an abscess (collection of pus), then drainage will be needed as well. You should have this managed by your doctor.
