A member asked:

After a blood test, if your blood is completey disease free, can they give it to someone else for transfusions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sufficient : Amount. The amount of blood collected for blood tests is 5-10 ml and even if it were the best blood ever, it would be too little for transfusion. For transfusion about 350-500 ml is collected and tested for a number of parameters before transfusion.
