Spirulina: Spirulina contains 60-70% protein, b complex vitamins, phycocyanin, chlorophyll, beta-carotene, vitamin e, and numerous minerals. It contains more beta-carotene than carrots! 2 types of algae are chlorella and blue green (which spirulina is). These are very rich food sources, but some can be contaminated with heavy metals like lead & mercury. Do your diligence in researching brands!
