Sort of: It's 'torticollis.' it actually means a stiff neck. In congenital torticollis, the stiffness may be due to shortened muscles - a birth defect. In other people, there could be any number of reasons for torticollis. A good exam by your doctor, including a proper hands-on musculoskeletal osteopathic exam can often find the cause &, if it's not congenital (something you're born with) can often fix it.
