2-4 weeks: Most tendonitis/bursitis resolves with rest, ice, and nsaid's. If symptoms persist, consider being evaluated by a shoulder specialist. Occasionally, a cortisone injection or formal pt may be indicated. Certainly, if symptoms persist beyond this, further workup or teting may be required to look for a more significant injury.
