How easy or how difficult is it for a person with paranoid schitzophrania to have a close relationship?

Schizophrenics: Chronic schizophrenics who have been clinically stabilized & are compliant with their ongoing treatment & have good social support system , do indeed form close relationships.

It would be easy : the level of closeness might be restrained due to their paranoia. Schizophrenia like all illnesses are on a spectrum, vary from mild to severe. You need to decide where s/he falls on the spectrum. I had a Paranoid schiz pt who was remarkably insightful and very plesant so he had many friends in the psych ward. you can see why.
