A member asked:

Can you contract infectious mononucleosis more than once?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but...: Classic infectious mono results from epstein-barr infection, but the first time you meet CMV and the first time you meet toxoplasmosis, exactly the same syndrome can happen to you. More importantly, acute HIV infections, a medical emergency, looks like infectious mono. A physician's office visit is in order.
