What is treatment for infectious mononucleosis?

RX FOR MONONUCLEOSIS: It is a self limiting disease so only symptomatic and supprted treatment is given.Rest during the acute period.Once acute system is over then avoid heavy activiti and contact sport should be avoided to prevent rupture of the spleen for at least 4 weeks after the infection or till spleen is no more palpable sometimes we use Prednisone and for pain or fever ibuprofen, valacyclovir inacute cases.
