Yes: Upright, and never prop the bottle. Feeding your baby sitting up helps prevent ear infections and reflux episodes.

Yes: Holding your baby upright helps them swallow the milk more efficiently. However experiment with different angles and types of holds, especially if your baby doesn't seem to like to bottle.
