A member asked:

I have started taking levlen-ed one week ago on the first day of bleed, it still shows no sign of going 1 week later, is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unclear question: If levlen (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) is for birth control, then should start on the end of your menstrual period. If the med is to stop bleeding, then you should take it three times a day, bleeding should stop in 3-5 days.
