Lithium interactions: I take 450 mg of lithium nightly and have been taking 800mg of Advil for a cold the last few days, am I ok to take Xanax with these drugs? ANS: lithium is a tricky drug and you should review any other meds with your team before taking them. Many cold meds may interact. But probably not for short term. Better safe than sorry.
