Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, positive ANA by itself does not indicate disease. For connective tissue disorders, multiple criteria have to be met. Do you have any symptoms?

Suggestive: Rheumatology has more tests yet depends less on them than perhaps any other specialty with challenging diagnoses. The titer of your ana, and more importantly your symptoms, will help your rheumatologist determine whether you actually have lupus or mixed-connective tissue disease, or one of the others, or are just someone who makes the antibodies and is healthy. Good luck.
