What is the flexor digitalis?

Flex your fingers...: Flexor digitorum muscles cause your fingers (digits) to pull inwards, or flex. There are four: superficialis, profundus, brevis and longus. The different ones flex different joints of the fingers. These are latin for superficial, deep, short and long.
