Interactions!: Digoxin has what we call a "narrow therapeutic window". This means the difference between enough and too much digoxin is very small. Other medications can increase the levels of digoxin in the blood and vice versa. This can cause dangerous side effects including abnormal heart rhythms that can be fatal.
