PTSD services: If your ptsd is combat related you may be best off seeking care from a veterans affairs medical center or a vet center. If combat related it is important to see a provider who is experienced in working with complex ptsd (which is quite different from simple ptsd).

Meds and psychothera: Get a apsychiatric referral for an evaluation for PTSD, and see if medication is warranted. Next, find a reputable psychotherapist in your area who specializes in PTSD. Meds and therapy as such are typically the best way to go. Group therapy can also be very effective.
