Severity of symptoms: A person can drive with mild symptoms of PTSD and perhaps even moderate symptoms of PTSD. Where driving safety can become an issue is if PTSD symptoms are severe. The differences among these levels of severity can be evaluated most effectively by a psychiatrist.

And if any medication makes you feel drowsy, use extreme caution until you know how you react to the med and can safely drive.
