Gardasil vaccine: The effects of the vaccine on a developing human fetus are not known. It is recommended that the vaccine be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed. In clinical trials, the rate of adverse events in women who became pregnant after receiving the vaccine were no different than in those receiving placebo. Prescribers should contact the manufacturer´s pregnancy registry at 800-986-8999.
