A member asked:

I have tried sinus sugery, immunotherapy and all the other allergy meds. what else can i do for allergies/sinusitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reassessment: Sinus surgery reduce symptoms by taking away structures that swell, but does not address the allergy sensitivity. Immunotherapy is best to induce tolerance, however efficacy is not 100%. Reassessment of allergic sensitivity with a skin test would be helpful to check efficacy of immunotherapy. If allergy sensitivity is controlled, then your doctor migh consider to evaluate the immune system.
