A member asked:

How are migraines and 'cluster' headaches different?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many differences: Cluster is more common in men, shorter duration (less than an hour as against 4 to 72 hours in migraine) the trigger factors in migraine do not necessarily start cluster. Oxygen therapy and some other therapies such as lithium, verapamil etc do not work well in migraine cluster headache come in clusters! etc.
