A member asked:

Glomerulonephritis is associated with bloody urine? is it always the case?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not gross hematuria: In fact not common at all. One form called IgA nephropathy or berger's disease is the one most associated with hematuria. In many instances there can be microscopic red blood cells seen on a urine analysis or dipstick.
