Important: There are many foods and certain Amino Acids that have a detectable effect on depression in large study samples, don't alone reach the brain enough. A healthful diet and physical exercise can definitely improve mood (and much else). But it's important to realize that a clinical depression of any severity may well not be reversed by these measures alone. Consult your md if this applies.
