Is ubiquinol better than coenzyme q for treating/preventing statin induced side effects such as myalgias?

Neither: The hard core evidence base for ubiquinone pathway supplements to avoid statin associated myalgias is pretty scarce. Some investigators quibble over doses, arguing that higher doses may be useful. There may be some subsets of patients that may benefit based on lab value measurements, but it's certainly not universal. Debating on type of non-proven supplements is not useful. I don't use these.

UBIQUINOL/COENZYME Q: Ubiquinol is reduced coenzymeq10, it is purified version of coenzyme coenzyme10 has ubiquinol and ubiqunone.Ubiqunone is not very active so in ubiquinol you get the active form, so you have to take half the amont of coenqymeq10 they are both effective for prevention of myalgia due to statins.
