Question:i take several meds.n a couple of them have serious side effects taken together or at all.why do drs.allow it?nobody has said anything2me why

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is common: Medications have many serious but uncommon side effects. When you take 2, there is always a potential for interactions, some also serious. Care providers should discuss the common. Most pharmacts give a comprehensive (often scary) list of the uncommon. Ask your prescriber or pharmacist how likely you are to have the problems that concern you and notify them if you experience one.
