A member asked:

Is there an association between alzheimer's and a hormone imbalance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Beta amyloid protein: Alzheimers disease is due to deposition in the brain of beta amyloid protein . To my knowledge there is no link with hormonal imbalance . This is a hot topic and research is going on to help us understand and hopefully find a cure.
