CT: Obvious on cat scan and on x ray films of thorax abdomen. 2 major types, universalis or partial. Partial more frequent in complex congenital cardiac disease. Universalis is a mirror image and usually organs are otherwise normal but in opposite location as most of humans.

Xray: Oftentimes situs is discovered when doing a simple xray study like a chest or absominal xray. Symptoms are rare. If you are tolf that your heart sounds are heard best in the right chest ask your doctor. Rarely is it symtptomatic if pure.
