Local hospital: Check with your local hospital, they will have a list of docs with hospital priveleges. You can check with an oral surgeon as well. General (full) anesthesia should be done in a hospital setting. Try discussing your situation with an oral surgeon, you may be sufficiently sedated with twilight sedation which can be done in the docs office.

Many options exist: There are many levels of expertise in dentistry when it comes to the use of general sedation. Some dentist have extensive training and other do not. Also, some dentist have better equipment to monitor blood oxygen and respiration during sedation . Its best to research the dentists experience with sedation before choosing. The local dental society should be able to make a recommendation.
