Not at all: He will just be more muscular with the same scoliosis. By 16, most males are near the end of their growing phase when most scoliotic changes slow and become fixed. Bracing sometimes lessens the problem but must be done early in the growth phase to be effective & is seldom done for minor curves because of the hassle.
