A member asked:

I have been taking symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) for about a week and lately i have felt like i have been suffocating. what should i do?

Wheezing: Symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) is a potent asthma inhaler. If you are using the 80, you might have to be bumped up to the 160. If you are already using the 160, you might be a candidate or oral steroids and/or antibiotics. Please consult your doctor, your pulmonologist or allergist for further evaluation.
