No perfect answer: If you're referring to oral iron, your iron level is normal and you have no underlying blood disorders like thalassemia, it's very difficult to take in too much iron. The body typically only absorbs as much iron from your diet as it needs. Persons receiving frequent transfusions or with conditions like hemochromatosis will have high iron levels, but these are uncommon.
