I started using new mascara and ever since then i've had this awful green yellow gunk in my eyes constantly. could i be allergic to it or something?

Contact dermatitis..: What you're experiencing is pretty common. A change in mascara and makeup causes a nasty reaction, either pink eye (conjunctivitis) or contact dermatitis, both which can create junk. I tell my patients to stop the new mascara asap, give it a day or two and if not improving, to come in and get checked out.
