A member asked:

Who can i talk to about alcohol problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many folks: I escaped from a home where alcohol was a problem and fortunately did not inherit the tendency to lose control. Many others are not so fortunate. If an alcohol abuser is a problem for you, there's al-anon; if you feel you have lost control, it's no more a thing to be ashamed of than a birthmark. Aa's is good, your pastor has heard it many times before, and any sane advisor will be of help. Peace.
