A member asked:

What are some symptoms associated with the rh blood mismatch disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Danger to Baby: If you are rh-negative have unfortunately become sensitized to your unborn child's rh-positive red cells, junior's red cells may be destroyed in the body. This can make the unborn child seriously sick (swelling, heart failure, even death), and once born, severe jaundice is likely to develop. This is fairly common and obstetricians and pediatricians know how to manage it.
