A member asked:

Can crest disease be diagnosed solely based on blood work with no symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I say no: There is no reason to draw labs without symptoms. Healthy people can have anti-centromere especially at low titer. No one knows the prevalence of high titer antibodies in healthy people as we don't test these folks.
