A member asked:

Is it possible for gallbladder pain be a constant but mild pain under the right ribcage, more toward the back than the belly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Gallbladder pain can be sudden- usually associated with eating- but can also leave a constant pain. It is common for the pain to radiate to the back on the right side. If pain is worse with eating or vomiting starts- you need to call your physician as you will most likely need an ultrasound.
