How long do radiologists spend in residency?

Typically: 1 year in an internship (medical, surgical, etc), then 4 years radiology. Most will do an additional 1-2 year subspecialty fellowship.

5 years: Radiology residency consists of a 1 year internship and 4 years of radiology training. Many radiologists also do a fellowship after completing their residency to further subspecialize.
