No: Even though mumps is very contagious, a person that has already had mumps once in their lifetime will never be able to get it again. They get life long immunity. So, the answer is no, you cannot get mumps more than once in your lifetime. The vaccination should protect you also.

Usually not.: In almost every case of second mumps infection there has been a shadow of correct diagnosis for the first episode. So if you really get mumps once and you have normal immune system it is pretty hard to get it again.

No (except)..: Mumps is a one time illness that you build antibodies for future protection. The exception is if you have some type of immune deficiency disorder where you don't make the normal antibodies in response to an illness. Then all bets are off.
