A friend of mine has mumps and i have been around her but i was vaccinated. i am 16...will i get infected too?

Exposed to Mumps: Hello. If you have been vaccinated against mumps (meaning 2 doses of the MMR vaccine), you should be protected from getting the mumps from your friend. However, there are some instances where immunity wanes over time. It may be a good idea to ask your doctor for a mumps titer blood test to check your level of immunity.
