Low glycemic: Before starting any mealplan, make sure you discuss with your doctor. Low glycemic index foods have less starchy carbs and more fiber in them. There are many fruits, vegetables, and whole grains which qualify. Balancing that out with a healthy protein and fat intake is necessary. A nutritionist would also be a good resource.
