Not necessarily: Any physician with experience, interest & expertise in managing this problem, could be pediatrician, family doctor, nephrologist ok or urologist. First worth trying home remedies: stop fluids after supper, urinate before bed, set alarm or wake 2 hours after going to bed, then bedwetting alarm (pottymd.Com). Then dr. Who may try medication. Avoid urodynamics &/or cystoscopy unless proven necessary.
