Stomal appliance fit: Priority is a good fit of your appliance. Prevent any excess baggage to carry around, by burping gas from you bag, and dumping contents so as not to burden your appliance and to raise your risk for leak. Empty your bag at least daily or twice daily as needed. Replace the bag as you change appliances, don't bother cleaning it, but maintain the cleanliness of the connections and the outside.
