Neither: Cholesterol in food is neither good or bad. The idea of good and bad cholesterol come from our use of cholesterol as an common way of estimating the quantity of "good" (HDL) and "bad" (ldl) lipoprotein particles that carry cholesterol in the blood. Research has established that it is the number of LDL and HDL particles, not the cholesterol inside the particle, that is the best measure of chd risk.

Fish oil in shrimp.: The cholesterol in shrimp, like that in other fish, is predominantly healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. The problem with shrimp is that it's so easy to eat a lot of them as they're essentially finger-food. So in total, the cholesterol can add up to a lot of calories. Having a few steamed or grilled shrimp would be just fine.
