Stage dependent : Thin, early stage melanoma is treated just by removing a zone of skin. This is rather inexpensive compared to thevtreatment for later stage disease which requires brain MRI and pet scans.

Depends : This depends entirely on the stage of the disease and what is required. In its early stages, melanoma is cured with excision. The fees for this and for pathology may be $600-1000.
