Yes: Early diagnosis & treatment with antibiotics can cure Meningococcal disease within 5 days in some cases but often takes longer. Delay in diagnosis & treatment will increase risks of complications.In some patients the disease can move so rapidly that patients expire within hours in spite of all efforts.
