Sick fast: Fever (high) , headache, muscle pain, anxiety, lethargy, shock, loss of consciousness, and the "rash." petechia (small round blood spots) and purpura (large irregular purple splotches). The inclosed picture is an end stage of the rash. Death occurs frequently with meningiococcal disease. If you are suspicious that you have this problem, seek medical care immediately.
